Phelps doesn't fall into the trap of denying everything like many athletes – good for him.

I was thinking about this when I learned of Magnolia's data loss. Make sure you have your data backed up.

We have a lot of those remotes but don't always know where they are.

No wonder print media is suffering. Wow!

We actually bough a 360 this Christmas so we could watch these films on the big screen. Being able to play Halo again was a fringe benefit.

There is no other way to say it. I LOVE NetFlix. It is actually strangely ironic that NetFlix helped me earn enough to be able to afford to subscribe ($24.99/month back then). I became an affiliate for NetFlix in 2000 and it was the first real success for my online ventures. I haven't stopped making money since and the family and I blow through at least a dozen movies a month now.

Agreed. I'm not doing it wrong – everyone else is.
Athletes and Faith
The NFL is a private organization and can essentially do what it wants, but some people have suggested that it doesn’t do enough to tone down the religious overtones.
This video implies that even the officials make judgement calls based on religious intent.
It’s also clear that athletes can make public statements of faith in cases where statements of another kind would not be tolerated. The recent discussions of Tim Tebow’s eyeblack demonstrates that not everyone is happy about this.

"Mr. Raju said Wednesday that 50.4 billion rupees, or $1.04 billion, of the 53.6 billion rupees in cash and bank loans the company listed as assets for its second quarter, which ended in September, were nonexistent."

Go Nimrods
My son and I put together a fantasy baseball team every year on Yahoo! and we love it. We participate in a live online draft and then monitor the team all season. It’s a blast.Anyway, this season we’ve had a rough start. The past two seasons we spent in the top 3 in our league (12 teams). This season we have never broken above number 8! We are having trouble adjusting. After about an hour of reading some of my favorite Chrisitan websistes this morning, I stopped by Yahoo! to check on today’s lineup for the week and quickly became frustrated by the interface. They have changed it somewhat from last year and it annoys me. I click on ‘Opponents’ to list the matches for the week. Then I select pitchers for today and click ‘Submit Changes.’ It always brings me back to the default ‘Stats’ view so I have to click ‘Opponents’ again. Just a minor annoyance. I will be writing my own interface to solve this problem. I may not get to it until next weekend, but I will do it. Of course I may need to check the TOS at Yahoo! as it seems many sites are banning scraping. I have been reading on this topic a lot this week (here and there )and will post my thoughts on it soon. My gut reaction is — You’ve got to be kidding! What’s next? You must read the newspaper in the living room, not the bathroom. No fast-forwarding through ads after you tape (or TiVO) something. (actually this has been debated already) I’m scraping and you can’t stop me! That’s just my gut reaction. I could be wrong.
